Property Maintenance Reminder

As Spring is here, homeowners are reminded of the property maintenance regulations for the Blackbird Knolls Community.  Many homes are in need of paint touch ups to garage doors and porches, concrete driveways and walkways are sinking and in need of repair/replacement and fences are in need of new stain.  As the weeds are already becoming evident, homeowners are encouraged to apply weed control to the turf and rock areas as needed. Thank you homeowners for keeping Blackbird Knolls an ideal community to live in!

Damages Caused by Wind…

It is clear the wind earlier this week has caused some damages to roofs, fencing and trees/landscape. Homeowners are reminded to submit the necessary Architectural Request Form prior to starting any projects.  Should you have questions regarding this process, please contact Foster Management – Marcy@FosterMGMT.net

Sherwin Williams Approved Paint Schemes

Exterior Painting…

Homeowners may now view the approved exterior paint colors ONLINE.  To view, go to www.sherwin-williams.com and locate the HOA Color Archives under the Color Section.  The color schemes for Blackbird Knolls are listed for your review.  If you’re considering a project for your home that involves painting the exterior or trim, be sure to complete and submit a request for approval before starting your project.  You can obtain the Architectural Request Form HERE.

 

Snow Expected

Weekend Snow –

Weather reports indicate that snow accumulation and low temperatures are expected this weekend.  Be sure to remove snow and ice from the sidewalks adjacent to your property… Not only does the HOA require homeowners to remove snow timely but it is also a City Municipal Code.

Be cautious when out and about walking pets or simply enjoying the Colorado weather as conditions may be hazardous!

Holiday Lights!

Happy New Year Blackbird Knolls!! Your community looked AMAZING this holiday with all of the beautiful lights and decorations.  But, as with most great things, they must come to an end. The Regulations for the Community state that holiday decorations are only permitted for display up to 30 days following the holiday. Be sure to take advantage of the warmer temperatures to remove holiday decorations and lighting by the end of January.

Loveland Classical School Traffic Meeting

Loveland Classical School parents and community members are invited to participate in a community conversation on Tuesday, January 23rd, at 3:30 pm to discuss steps the school has taken and can take to make greater progress in the areas of traffic safety and efficient traffic flow. The meeting will be held at 3835 SW 14th Street in Loveland.

The 2017 Annual / Budget Ratification Meeting of The Blackbird Knolls Homeowners Association will be held at 6:30pm November 9th, 2017 at the Calvary United Reformed Church located at 3901 14th St SW.  It is required that 20% of the homeowners, or 49 homes, are represented at the meeting to reach quorum.  The Board encourages all homeowners to attend this very important meeting. However, if you are Unable to attend, please complete, sign and return this  PROXY to Foster Management no later than 11/9/2017 at 5pm.  We look forward to seeing you all at this meeting!
